Most of the material is appropriate for affiliates but some will also be of help to merchants - in particular in getting into the mind-set of the typical affiliate. For merchants, you may wish to pass on some of the information to your affiliates in support of your marketing. As you would expect from books on affiliate marketing, they contain a lot of affiliate links from the authors to websites that they generate an income from. Watch and learn!

Description: A simple step by step guide to setting up your own affiliate programme. The first part is directed at the complete beginner, but makes a useful refresher for the established website owner - especially if your site was all done for you by someone else! Lots of affiliate links pepper the book, Liz is a prolific affiliate marketer after all ;-).

Description: This one is by Ewen Chia, a top "Super Affiliate". It is a very good but simple primer for affliates, though merchants could probably learn a trick or two as well.

Affiliate Marketing Handbook
Description: I didn't write this book, but I did buy the rights to publish it as if I had. As well as being a good introduction to affiliate marketing, it is a demonstration on how to use "Private Label Rights" ebooks as giveaways to drive traffic back to your website. Feel free to pass the book on to others who you think might benefit - (in itself a demonstration of another technique known as "viral marketing" because, like a virus, people pass it on to others!) It is yours to give away but you may not alter it, sell it, or claim it as your own work.
